My name is Kirsten Sosa and I am so excited to be the Director of the Silver Elite. I graduated nearby from Forney High School, where I was a member of their dance team. I then went to Trinity Valley Community College where I was Captain of the Cardettes Dance Team, and I graduated with an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts. I transferred to Texas State University where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and received my certification in both Dance and Physical Education. While attending Texas State, I was a two-year member of the Strutters Drill Team. In my dance career I have performed numerous places, such as the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, on a Norwegian Epic Cruise Ship through the Mediterranean, at the Pearl Harbor Memorial site in Honolulu, Hawaii, in the Pan-Pacific Parade in Honolulu, Hawaii, in the Dallas Christmas Adolphus Parade, and in the Houston Thanksgiving Day Parade. I am currently in my twelfth year as a dance educator and Director of Drill Team. I was a Director in Fort Bend ISD for 7 years and the Director at Rogers MS for 4 years. I am supported by my wonderful husband, Vicente, and  my son, Vinny, who is a student in Prosper ISD. I love to travel, dance, hike, be with family, vlog and drink coffee. I am so excited to be here in Prosper as a member of the Walnut Grove School Staff and Direct the Silver Elite Dance Team.
