Nicole Butler

Nicole Butler is from Midlothian, TX and has been dancing since the age of two and a half.  She is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Design and Minor in Architecture History. She graduated from Midlothian High School where she was a member of the Pantherette Drill Team, served as an officer for 3 years and Captain her Senior Year.  During her time on Pantherettes., Mrs. Butler got the opportunity to perform in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, halftime at a Dallas Cowboy’s game with the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders and compete in Hawaii at the Showmakers of America National Contest.

For the past 9 years, Mrs. Butler has been a part of the Visual Staff for the Spirit of Waxahachie High School Marching Band where she was their fitness instructor and choreographer for their marching show. The Waxahachie Band has advanced to the UIL State Marching Contest in San Antonio for the past 13 years.  In 2017 they were the Bronze Medalist for 5A State contest and continued to make finals for the next 5 years in the 6A category. This past year, the band was awarded the Sudler Shield Award for excellence in High School Marching Band Programs.

Before working with Waxahachie, Mrs. Butler served as the Director of the Midlothian High School Pantherettes where they brought home many awards, including Super Sweepstakes, Line of Champions, Best in Class, Best in Category, and many awards for choreography, precision, showmanship and technique.  Mrs. Butler traveled to Hawaii with the Pantherettes for the Showmakers of America National Competition where they were awarded many team and individual awards including National Champion.  

She is so excited to be taking on the role of Head Director at The Grove and cannot wait to set “The Standard” with the Silver Elites and Silverettes.

Mrs. Butler has 3 beautiful children who are her greatest joy and a husband who is her best friend and the other half of her soul.  Mrs. Butler loves to cook and bake for her family, is an avid reader and crafter and loves to travel with her family.
